Warm Jackets for Students and Teachers of Jaleshworee Secondary School

Namaste to everybody. Happy New Year 2016.

The second day (2nd Jan) of the new year 2016 became very exciting for us. We took warm jackets to Salangghat to distribute in the Jaleshworee school on 01-01-2016 that were supported by EduKids Nepal. The days were so busy for me and Sandhya to manage everything. We took jackets from the factory to Kalanki in the van and then by bus.

Ineke and Moti jee were coming in bus from Pokhara. We got off at home. After lunch, Moti jee and I went to the Malika Primary School in Bhedawari. We saw the destroyed buildings and the need to do them there. Eku sir, who is the headteacher there showed us the buildings and explained what can be done further. Then we came down to Salangghat. Sandhya was waiting for me to go to her parents' house.

The next day, the 02 of January, we came back home. It was a bit late but ok. The people of the Nava Prabhat club as Saurav Tripathi, Sagar Tripathi, Bishal Pandey, Ramchandra Kandel, Keshav Pandey, and others helped there to bring the things to the school. Oma, Moti jee, my dad, me and Sandhya went there.

The resource person came along with the headteacher. The program became formal. Then we distributed all the jackets, hats, and mufflers. We were thinking to give hats for the boys and mufflers for the girls but many of them liked mufflers. Some of the jackets became quite small but others are okay.

This is how my (our) new year became really wonderful. I hope that the students can have good attention to their study with warm jackets. Hope the new year brings you success, but you have to be more laborious and more energetic.

Bye.
